Call for ICANN review of dropping domain names

From today's BNA's Internet Law News: The Public Interest Registry, which manages the .org domain, has called on ICANN to review current policies associated with non-renewed domains. PIR expressed concern that registrants may be unaware of the value of domains that they allow to lapse, which may then be misused by the new registrant.
