Decathlon, a famous firm in France, struggled to get its decathlon.pl back. This domain name was registered by a Polish firm.
Decathlon chose to bring the case before a French court. The court of first instance favored the plaintiff, but the Paris court of appeals reversed the decision. Why ? In an article (in English), Joanna Sitko summarizes the case, and says what a Polish court was likely to rule.
