New TLDs

Where are the comments? ICANN delayed the deadline by which one can send comments on the proposed new domains (.asia, .cat, .jobs, .mail, .mobi, .post, .tel, .travel, .xxx). The new deadline is May 14.
As of today, there are few (and poor) comments. Who reminds the November 2000 fever, when seven new TLDs were created?

Tim Berners-Lee, who invented the World Wide Web, is against the creation of new TLDs. He thinks the last TLDs created did not prove to be a success, and compares the domains to money: "When you print money, you devalue the money you already printed".
