Falwell wins vs. gay activist's website

A Virginia judge has ruled that a gay activist must stop using a variation of the Rev. Jerry Falwell's name in the address for a website critical of the conservative television evangelist. This seems to shut down one of the most watched cases (see UDRPlaw.net, n° 56) involving a domain name and right to parody. The court ruled that the site intended to divert people from the Jerry Falwell Ministries' website "with the direct intent to tarnish or disparage Falwell."
It was the challenge of a UDRP decision.
