The Washington Post has a report on a class action brought by advertisers against Yahoo!, Overture and other companies.
To the plaintiffs, the defendants engaged in "syndication fraud": Yahoo! and Overture let their syndication partners display ads in spywares, "typosquatted" and "parked" websites. Defendants say they purchased "highly targeted" ads, not regular ads.
