AdWords: This International Herald Tribune article is on French trademark law cases involving Google over AdWords. It says there would be more than 40 cases in France (I don't know if it's true, I only know a dozen published decisions). The article focuses on the Vuitton case, which appeal ruling is expected in two days. Before the court of first instance, Google was ordered to pay the plaintiff 200,000 € for trademark counterfeiting, unfair competition and misleading advertising. This case is different from other in which Google was sued, because the ads were leading to websites where counterfeit products were available.
